Do I need to be referred for counselling by my GP?
No, you do not need to be referred by your GP. I do take referrals from GP's, charities and organisations, but most of my clients are self-referrals.
Do you offer on-line or telephone counselling?
Yes, I can offer online, telephone or video-conferencing.
How long does counselling take?
Each routine individual session lasts 50 minutes. Couple counselling lasts for 60 minutes.
An initial session that provides us both the opportunity to get to know each other a little, usually lasts 50 minutes for individual counselling, and 60 minutes for couple counselling. For counselling to be effective, It is important that you feel you can work with your counsellor.
During your first session, we will discuss your goals for counselling, which we will review at regular intervals.
You are welcome to continue with counselling for as long as you feel it benefits you, which may be a matter of weeks, or longer term.
Availability of sessions?
I offer morning, afternoon and evening appointments, Mon-Thurs & Saturday mornings.
How often are the sessions?
Sessions are generally once a week, although there may be occasions where more or less frequent appointments are appropriate.
How can I make an appointment?
You can text, ring or email me ( see the Contact page for further details). I will respond as soon as possible to to your query.
What if I can't make a session?
Please provide 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or rearrange a session. Failure to do so may result in you being charged for the missed appointment. In exceptional circumstances, please contact me as soon as you can to let me know that you cannot attend.
Where are you based?
I am based in Sundon Park, Luton, where there is also free car parking facilities. (please scroll to the bottom of each page for address) .
Is there a waiting area?
When you arrive I will meet you at the entrance to the Newns Building.

Who do you offer counselling to?
Currently I offer 1-1 counselling to individuals and couples aged 18 and over.
How much do you charge for counselling?
Initial consultation
£35.00 for individual counselling and £45.00 for Couple counselling.
Face to face
Individual sessions: £50.00
Couple Counselling Session: £65.00
Video via Zoom
Individual Sessions - £45.00
Couple Counselling - £60-00 - £65.00
nb: I do offer concessions. Please contact me to discuss further.
How can I pay?
Via bank transfer. I will issue a receipt for your records. Please let me know if your sessions are being funded by a third party requiring an invoice.
